The waves wrap our feet. I don't even like the beach, but it's alright 'cause I'm standing next to you. Our shoulders slowly graze and your eyes are like a maze. We'll just talk if that's all you want to do. We stared out into the darkness. I didn't care about my morning classes. You told me we should meet tomorrow, made me promise. I feel like you're with me because you think that I'm harmless. I think about all the chances I never had 'cause you were too passive. You're so abstract you could be an artist. I'm your closest friend, but you're my farthest. You make me feel like a bitch. There's too much water under this bridge. I felt it when your arms were closing in so I pushed away. I've never felt so ashamed.
